My name is Linnea Wettermark and I’m a friend of Ethiopia since childhood. My father worked for SIDA (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) and my family and I lived there for three years during my early years. As an adult I’ve been back many times and every year I spend the winter time in Ethiopia. I’m also trying to learn amharinja, the official Ethiopian language. I am married to Baye Eyasu, and his younger brother is Shewangzaw.
I was very touched the first time I met Shewangzaw. He is only 25 years old, but is already a very dedicative and focused young man. He has been stunning in school with top grades his whole life and his dream has always been to become a doctor.
In Sweden I work with developing social and organic sustainable solutions through the NGO Organic Without Borders.
